Prevent Maternal Mortality through Mobile Technology

The goal of the project is to increase the effectiveness of postpartum discharge education and improve rural women’s compliance with postpartum care recommendations using our PM3 mobile app.

This study is for Black women by Black women. The PM3 study helps new mothers in Georgia stay healthy as they acre for their baby in the first few months. The study will take place in three Georgia communities, in Albany, LaGrange, and Waynesboro and surrounding areas in Georgia. This project is a collaboration between Georgia Tech, Emory University, and Georgia State University.
