Strengthening Community Health Worker (CHW) Civic Engagement Strategy to Promote a Culture of Health in Georgia

Project Type: Community

The main goal of this project is to promote health equity in Georgia by building and boosting the capacity of Georgia’s Community Health Workers (“CHWs”). A Community Health Worker is a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of and/or has an unusually close understanding of the community served. We believe building up Community Health Workers is important because we want to encourage them to participate in effective community advocacy and organizing.
